Bloom With Hope

Okay, I'm going to attempt this post one more time.  A big storm is rolling through and the lights went out for a second and so did my computer and all that I had typed.  It's quieting down out there so I thought I would try this again.  Sheeeesh!!!

Today I used the "Bloom with Hope" stamp set again.  Mostly because I hadn't put it away plus I hadn't used these images yet!

This was a fairly easy card to make. Okay, it was easy, it was just the fussy cutting of the flowers that I didn't like.  I much prefer my stamps to have a matching punch or die!

I colored the flowers using a blender pen and the Crisp Cantaloupe marker.  I used the Daffodil Delight marker on the center of the flowers plus a little around the edges of the center.  The camera didn't do the flower justice.  It looks way more orange around the flower center than it really is.  I am SO looking forward to getting some Blendabilities markers.  It will make coloring SO much easier and you won't see that line where you over color.  I tend to refill my blender pens so they are VERY wet and I don't get too much of those lines showing.

The leaves were from a Sizzlet die.  I used the Modern Label and Word Window punch, and the words are from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.  One of my favorite word sets!

The base of my card is Pistachio Pudding and I used the Polka Dot embossing folder on the Whisper White piece of card stock.  Oh and not to forget the little strip of Crisp Cantaloupe decorative paper.

Well, I should wrap this up, I'm hearing another wave of rain and wind coming through and I don't want to lose all of my typing again!!!  UGH!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
