A Too Kind Birthday

I thought I would play with some retiring stuff today.  Since the Too Kind set was still sitting out I decided that would be the one to play with.  So from there I used the Dotted folder and made my foreground piece.  I punched out the oval though after doing that I thought maybe I should have done the oval first so the dots wouldn't have gotten smashed.  And a thought just came to me, I could have used my stylus to bring the dots back out on the card stock.  DUH!  I've had a lot of "DUH" moments lately!!!

Moving on here.  I used Primrose Petals for the flower.  I didn't plan that flower out very well.  I could have moved it over just a bit and the whole flower could have fit in the window.  The other option (not a favorite of mine) would have been to cut out the flower and set it in place with Dimensionals.  It's not that I don't like what I see but it could use a bit of improvement.

I added a small butterfly to the upper right corner, setting it in place with a Dimensional cut in half.

The words were done on my computer and I set them in place using Dimensionals.  There's LOTS of Dimensionals on this card!!! This card can be used for other occasions too.  I'm seeing a get well card, a Mother's Day card, a thinking of you card, and even a sympathy card.

I like this layout and I like how easy this card is to make.  I can see myself making more like this with other "things" in the center!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
