A Field Flowers Mother's Day Card

The Field Flowers set is soon to be retiring.  I am sad.  I really liked playing with this set.  I have made lots of cards using it and I thought I would be making lots more.  But it's retiring and making room for some other set that I won't be able to live without, right?  LOL

So today I thought I would make a Mother's Day card using this set.

I am using Always Artichoke and Elegant Eggplant ink pads and cards stock.

It's a very simple card.  The base is a half sheet of Elegant Eggplant folded in half.  Then I stamped the flower.  The stem first and then I added the flowering parts.  Then I cut the card stock close to the inked areas.  I measured the piece and cut the layer just a little over 1/8" larger.  I punched out a scalloped circle and a 1-3/8" Elegant Eggplant circle. And lastly the words were done on my computer.  I set them in place using Dimensionals.  And that was it.  Very simple and very quick.  I think I will be playing with this set one more time before it retires.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
