A Peaceful Petals Mother's Day

I took a couple of days off from posting.  Things had gotten a bit crazy around here with working and the Upper Midwest Bead Society Demo & Do yesterday.  I had to prepare and pack for it.  I taught two morning during the morning session.  I LOVE teaching beading and my first class was extremely full.  But it was a great group of beading gals a I had a great time.

So for today's card I didn't have to go far to find it.  It came in my email via Late Night Stampers.  There was a link to the card which was done by Lori at Stampin Dreams.  It's such a pretty card that I had to give it a shot.  I was in the mood for a little blender pen coloring.  I didn't quite stick with the colors that Lori used but I did like the layout, the image and that pretty background paper.  It's from the "Watercolor Wonder" decorative paper pack.  I have found those flowers a bit more difficult to use than I thought they would be.  So when I find a fun card using it I just HAVE to make it.  I did buy 3 packs of it after all!!!  But with spring here and our snow all melted it's going to be a lot easier and more fun to make some spring flower cards using the background papers from that pack!

I also changed the wording on my card.  I am still making Mother's Day cards for next month.  Yup.  Mother's Day is less than a month away!  I am also working on a special gift for my daughter-in-law for Mother's Day.  It will be her first!  I will share it with you when I finish it.

I do thank you for visiting today,
Wanda

  1. Your card is super, I too have the decorative paper and really like the colors and arrangement but haven't touched it yet...this may do the trick!
