Off the Grid with Petite Petals and Gorgeous Grunge

I found a fun card at a wonderful German stamping site.  Alexandra is the owner of the site and I apologize that I can not pronounce the name of the blog.  It didn't translate into English.  But you can view the card here.  I took a few elements that I especially liked from the card and then began my work on it.

I especially loved the "Off the Grid" grid! And I loved the "Gorgeous Grunge" splash of green.  A little tip for you, stamp the "splash" first and then do the grid.  The grid was done using VersaMark and gold embossing powder.

The flowers are from the new "Petite Petals" set and stamped in Calypso Coral.  The circle was made using the 1-7/8" and 2-3/8" circle Framelits.   The center of the flowers are the Daffodil Delight "Candy Dots."  Two of the flowers were set in place right on the Pistachio Pudding ring and the center flower was set in place using a Dimensional.

The leaves are from the "Bird Builder" punch and they were punched out using Wild Wasabi card stock.

I used the large "Shaker Frame" to stick it on the front of the card.  I cut the Shaker Frame into pieces first.

The words are from the "Simply Sketched" hostess set.  I stamped them using black StazOn and I layered it on top of a scalloped oval piece of Bermuda Bay card stock.  I had to use two Dimensionals (stacked) to equal the height of the circle ring.

I used the Envelope Punch to round the corners.

I do like the way this card turned out.  I am thinking of taking my favorite concepts of this card again and trying something different.  I am seeing too much white on the card that could use something.  I'll see what I can come up with and of course I will share it with you!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
