En Francais Valentine's Day Card

Quick.  Simple.  Fun.  Three words that best describe this card.  I found a card much like this on Pinterest, you can see it here.  I tried to click on the photo to find more information on the card but it took me to a dead end.  I find that a lot on Pinterest.

I will tell you how I made this version of that card.  First I took a quarter piece of Crumb Cake card stock and stamped the "En Francais" background stamp on it using Soft Suede ink that was stamped off once.  Then I cut the card down to 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and I used the envelope maker to round the corners.  Then I sponged the edges.

I took a half a paper doily and folded it over the top part of the card. I clipped the corners of it off in the back so they couldn't be seen.

I tied a piece of white Baker's Twine to the card, wrapping it around it 3 times.

I used the hearts Sizzlet and Real Red card stock. I put all the hearts from that Sizzlet on the card, including the tiniest one on the twine.  I used Dimensionals for all the hearts except for the one on the twine, for that one I just used a Glue Dot.

I used Dimensionals on the back of the stamped piece and set it in place on top of a half sheet of card stock that was cut on the short side and then folded in half.

It's a super easy card to make!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
