Walk in the Wild Masculine Card

I still say that one can never have enough masculine cards!  Today I was inspired to make this card after seeing one similar to it on Pinterest.  You can see the original card here.  I believe it's a note size card.  I made the card into a full size card by adding the note size part at the top and a sentiment at the bottom.

The base of my card is Always Artichoke.  The next layer is Pear Pizzazz.  The moose is stamped using black StazOn.  The technique here is the Painter's Tape Technique.  It's an easy technique to do too.  You take a strip of painter's tape and lay it across your ink pad and tap across it with your fingers to pick up the ink.  Then you lay it across your image and tap your fingers across it to transfer the ink.  I am going to be making this card for a swap so I need to make 11 more.  I took the painter's tape and stuck pieces of it in the 3 rows on my clear block.  I probably have 6 or 7 strips thick of tape.  I actually used the back side of the tape and not the sticky part.  It's textured the same as the sticky part so it really didn't matter.  I set the 3 pieces on my block.  One in the grass, one on the moose and one in the sky.  I used Pear Pizzazz for the grass, Baked Brown Sugar for the moose and Soft Sky for the sky.  I inked them up on the block and stamped them all at once.  I did turn the block over so I could press on the tape more.  When I make these for the swap I am going to add a bit of removable tape to the card stock so I can turn it over without it slipping and make the whole process go faster.  And I did move the center block of tape over a bit so it got more on the moose instead of on the his backside!

The words are from the "Bring On the Cake" set and they were stamped using the Baked Brown Sugar ink.

And there you have it. An easy and fun masculine card!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
