Snow Day Snowman Card

Today's card comes to you from "Stamp with Amy K's" blog.  I bought this set because I LOVE snowmen.  I mean I REALLY do LOVE snowmen!  As many of you know I make at least one every year (providing we have the wet sticky snow to make one - though one very cold year I did bring the snow in the house to warm it up and I made a small snowman - now tell me that isn't LOVE!!! LOL).

Anyway, I am not having as much fun with this set as I thought I would.  So I decided to go on the net for some inspiration.  I did find a card that I totally liked so I thought I would copy it.

I did change the words at the bottom but for the most part it's exactly like the original card.

The snowman is stamped using Soft Sky and the card stock used here is Soft Sky as well.  And the stamping is done on Whisper White.  I used Cherry Cobbler for the red parts and black StazOn for the darker parts.  The hat was colored in using a marker.  I didn't have the Soft Sky marker (I don't know why I am missing that marker) so I stamped the hat using the Soft Sky ink pad and used a blender pen to remove the ink I didn't want and colored in those areas with the Cherry Cobbler marker.  Missing marker problem solved on this card.

It's an easy card to make and  now I'm off to look for more snowman inspiration.

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda
