Magnificent Maple Card

I was at Terri's FABULOUS Stamp-a-Stack (SAS) tonight and had a great time.  I got to not only make cards but I got to visit with my sister too!

This card is a lot of fun because it's got a "different" fold to it.  I didn't take a photo of the card open so you can see what I mean but I think I can explain it enough so you will know what I mean.  The "Top Note" die cut piece is taped to the solid Crushed Curry card stock.  The tape is on the left half of the "Top Note" piece.  So when you open the card you just take the right side of the "Top Note" piece and open the card to the left.

The base of the card stock is cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and folded in half.  The front panel of the card is cut in half. I suppose you could cut the piece at 8-1/2" and fold it at 5-1/2".  Then you wouldn't have much wasted card stock.

The leaf and words are stamped using the Crushed Curry as well.  And the decorative paper is from the "Sweater Weather" pack.  Unfortunately I don't own anything but the Crushed Curry ink pad and the "Top Note" die.

This was such a fun card to make!! I can't wait to show you the other cards we made.  I will be adding them now and then in between my other creations and finds!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
