Flower Shop & Gingham Garden Washi Tape

Today I needed a thank you card. And yes, I do have a lot of them in my stash of cards but I like to make a fresh new one!!  So I thought I would use some Washi tape and the "Flower Shop" stamp set and punch.  I wanted to make a quick, cute and easy card.  This one foot the bill!  I did get the "Thank you" crooked though.  It is one of the new polymer clear stamps from the "Another Thank You" set. I'm a little disappointed in the set though.  The words are not stamping crisp and clear and I don't know why.

And why did it stamp crooked?  I had every opportunity to get it straight.  It's a clear stamp on a clear block.  How could I mess that up?  But I did!!! LOL

I think it would be fun to make a set of different occasion cards as a pack of cards for a gift and use this image/layout but different words for different occasions on the fronts.

I used Tempting Turquoise for the flower and the layer behind the stamped piece.  It's such a pretty color and it's also in the bottom strip of Washi tape.

It's a fun card to make.  Just do a better job than I did on getting the words straight! LOL

Thank you ever so much for visiting today,
Wanda

  1. I found I had to clean the set before inking it up. Another tip...lie the stamp (on the block) face up and TAP, TAP, TAP the ink pad onto the stamp. This should give you a nice clean image.
