Mixed Bouquet and Simply Pressed Clay Flower

I am still having a lot of fun with the Mixed Bouquet set.  And I'm having fun with my hands in that clay!  I LOVE playing with clay, any kind of clay!  My favorite is earthenware but I don't have a kiln so the next best thing is the polymer clay.  This air dry clay is fun but you have to be a little patient and wait for it to dry.  Or be smart and make a bunch of flowers and buttons up a head of time and put them with the rest of your stash!!  Fortunately I had this flower made up ahead of time.  I had also made some Coastal Cabana flowers and they really matched the Pool Party color.  I was a bit surprised. I had sat one of those flowers in the middle and it was ok and like I said, it matched.  But when I set a white flower there I knew that was the color that belonged in the center!

This was a very easy card to make. You can do this two ways.  You can use white for your base or you can use the colored cardstock.  I used the colored cardstock since my white is running very low at the moment.  I took a quarter sheet of white and stamped flowers all over it and then cut it in half on the short side.  I now have an extra strip to make a different card in the near future.

This was a very fun card to make too.  Just emboss the cardstock, stamp the little background flowers, add a ribbon and then the flower (which is on Dimensionals).  So quick, so easy and pretty too!

And on that note I'm going to post this, it's starting to hail out and I want to shut the computer down.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
