Flower Shop meets Flowering Flourishes

I had made a card like this a while back using the "Flowering Flourishes" set and "Teeny Tiny Wishes" for the birthday greeting. I had that card sitting on the ledge in my workroom and I thought how pretty it might look with a flower on it. We all know how this scenario goes.  What looks good in my thoughts doesn't always turn out so good on paper.  And lucky you, I share it with you anyway!!! LOL

This card turned out ok. Not as pretty as I imagined it but it's doable!

I used Gumball Green for the cardstock and ink.  The flower was stamped using Primrose petals on Strawberry Slush cardstock.  I found the most difficult part of this card was to get that flourish in the right spot.  So of course I (finally) got out the Stamp-a-Ma-Jig.  I have a couple of sheets of cardstock of failures.  Live and learn?  Me?  *giggles*  Maybe someday!

Oh and I almost forgot. For the center of the flower I used glue and Dazzling Diamonds. The glue was still wet when I took the photo.  It did dry clear and it sparkles SO pretty!

My original card can be found here along with the measurements if you want to make one yourself.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
