A Mixed Bunch Birthday

I had done a Google search for "Mixed Bouquet" and I ran across this bright and cherry card.  The card had no name on it and on the sidebar I saw that the link to it was Hill Country Stampin.  The link does not work. I don't know if the blog is in existence anymore.  So if this is your card, please let me know so I can give you credit for it.

I did change the wording part.  The original card had a paper strip with the end "v'd". I didn't have words wide enough to make that work for me so I just went with the words from "Express Yourself" and the oval punch and scallop.  The original card also had the center circle done using a scallop but I couldn't make the scallop punches I had work with it so I kept it round.

The leaves are a Sizzlet die and my colors are Real Red, Whisper White for the cardstock and Wild Wasabi for the green.

This is an extremely simple card to make and I actually had fun making this, even though I struggled a bit as to what I was going to do with the words.  But in the end it all worked out and I like the card!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

Wanda, I forget how I stumbled upon your blog, but I like your simple, clean style. I appreciate that you use a stamp set several times, each time giving it a different, distinct look.

  3. This card was made almost 10 years ago. Long before I started including the measurements and supplies needed to make the cards I post. The stamp set is called "Mixed Bouquet" and the punches for it has long since been retired. I no longer have the card in my possession so I am unable to give any measurements, sorry.
