Spring Sampler Mother's Day Card

I thought I would play with the "Spring Sampler" set again.  There's SO many fun images in that set. And they don't just have to be used in the spring either.  Though most of them do have the spring theme. But there are some that will work well with summer, babies, showers and kids, along with all the other spring things.

Anyway today I used the tulip in the set.  Which of course does scream of spring.  It's still too cold here to see the tulips blooming!

I colored in the flower with Regal Rose (a color soon to retire) and Old Olive (not retiring).

The words are from the "Delightful Dozen" set and I stamped them using Regal Rose as well.

The rose is from the mini catalog and is called "Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim".  You get 2 yards of it.  I cut off a flower and I pushed it into my Regal Rose ink pad.  I set it in place on my card using a Glue Dot.

I had stamped my tulip on a small piece of Very Vanilla and then I cut it short enough on the edges to hide behind a piece of Very Vanilla cut 5-1/8" x 2-1/4".  The piece under it is cut 5-1/4" x 2-3/8" and set in place with Dimensionals.

The decorative paper is from the Sunshine & Sprinkles pack.  A pack that will soon be retiring and I know I won't be using up before that!

This was a very fun and easy card to make. And you get to use those little images in a big way!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
