A Bright Blossoms Mother's Day Card

Bright Blossoms is a very fun set to play with.  I'm SO in the mood for flowers right now and this little set has some cute and fun ones.

This card is not my original design.  I know that just surprises you!!! LOL  I wanted to make a Mother's Day card using this set.  I spend a lot of time on Pinterest but this time I just used Google images and a TON of them came up, even ones that are on Pinterest!!!  Makes me wonder if I should continue to use Pinterest or just do a Google search???

Anyway, lets get back to this card.  After all, this is all about me here!  LOL  The card is very simple and quick to make.  And yet it's very pretty.

I used Summer Smooches decorative paper.  Yup, I still have some of that left too.  I know that surprised you too.  It is rare for me to use up a whole pack of decorative paper.  I would like to sometime.  But then again I think that if I use  it up it's because it was fun and then I will just buy another pack and have left over paper when it retires!!! A vicious cycle!!!

After cutting my card stock I punched the edge.  Then I added a 1-1/2" x 3-7/8" strip of decorative paper.

I colored the images in using markers.  I huffed on the image and then stamped them on Whisper White card stock that was cut 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".  And then I stamped the words on.  This could also be used for other occasions as well.  I can see it as a birthday card, a thank you card and a get well card.  All would be bright and cheery!

It is as simple as that.  And I told you it was quick too!  Don't you think it's an adorable card?  I sure did, that is why I wanted to make one and share it with you.  You can see the original card here.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
