Summer Silhouettes Stampin' Up! Card

My day had gotten away from me.  I was planning on showing you a very fun card technique but it's going to have to wait until tomorrow.  I promise!!  I spent too much time working on a pattern for a beaded bracelet I had designed.  I'm getting things ready for the Demo & Do at the Textiles Center off 280 and University Avenue.  It's coming up fast and I want to have everything ready ahead of time so I'm not stressed.  I will be teaching 3 projects there and I'm SO looking forward to it!

Ok, onto this card so I can get stuff finished up and ready for the card technique post for tomorrow!

I used the "Summer Silhouettes" set to make this card.  I found a card on Pinterest that I thought would be fun to make and I did keep it pretty close to the original card.  I added some words at the bottom and a butterfly at the top.  The original had a tag hanging from the ribbon.  And I'm not clear on what colors the original one was done in but I used Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip.  The original card can be found here.

For the words I used the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.  I just took the first stamp that I reached for and was glad it wasn't Christmas or Halloween!!!  I used the Word Window punch on the words and the Modern Label punch behind it. Fortunately for me I had a bunch of them punched out.  I had some small craps of Chocolate Chip card stock and instead of tossing them I punched out some labels for future use.  And today was the "future"!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
