Papillon Potpourri & Spring Sampler

This card was a little interesting to make.  First of all, I wanted a different texture for the background so I used the scoring board and scored a bunch of lines, thick and thin, closer and farther away.  For the thick ones I just scored a line and then moved it over just a little and scored again. It was scored not only next to the previous score line but a bit on top of it too.  They were easy enough to make though I wouldn't want to make a bunch of them for a swap!

The flowered strip was fun.  I just used Soft Suede ink and the flower from "Spring Sampler".  Another One Sheet Wonder.

The words are from the "Bring on the Cake" set and of course the  butterfly from the "Papillon Potpourri" set and the butterfly punch.

The One Sheet Wonder panel and the butterfly were set in place using Dimensionals.  The rest of the layers were just taped on as usual.

The colors I used here are Whisper White, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.  So with the scoring aside, the rest of the card went together SO quickly.  If I were to make another one I would probably do it in different colors plus I would find a different texture or technique for the background!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
