A Secret Garden Birthday

I got the new "Secret Garden" set and I thought I would play with it before I set it aside and forget about it like I've done with a few other sets I have.  That just tells me that I have too many sets.  I need to play with what I have before I over do it on new stuff!  I know that but do I live it?  Let's not go there!!! LOL

My card today was very easy to make.  I don't play much with the Calypso Coral color but today I thought I would try to make it work with the "Sycamore Street" decorative paper.  I wasn't sure where I was going with this card when I started out and as I was making it I just kept rolling with the ideas that came.  And it wasn't until just now I could see how little decorative paper I used for this card.  You could probably make about 100 cards from a 12" x 12" sheet using that little sliver of a piece of decorative paper.  Not that I would want to make 100 of these!  Maybe a couple more.  One more for sure.  I'd like to take one of the other flower images and stamp in VersaMark on the background some.  It's kind of blah.  I didn't notice that until I saw it on here.  In person it doesn't look as bad.

The flower came from the "Secret Garden" set and it was set in place using Dimensionals.

Anyway, this is my card for today!   Thank you for visiting,
Wanda
