Blooming With Kindness

I found this card on Pinterest.  I changed it a little but not much.  I liked the look of the drawn box/layer going around the top part of the card.  I just liked the way it flowed on the card.  So I thought I would add it to my Pinterest stash of cards I want to make and wait until I had time or until I just couldn't stand it anymore.  Well, that's what happened today. I just couldn't stand it.  I wanted to make that card SO bad.  The original card can be found here.  It was made by Michelle at Michelle's Card Classes.  Her card was done in the Summer Starfruit color. I was not thrilled with that color and it being fall I decided to go with one of the warmer colors. Here I used Cajun Craze.  Her card has different wording and it's stamped across the flower.  I did like that look but I didn't think the words would show up very well on the Cajun Craze.  So I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes set and I started the outline drawing along the word line and just in front of the words.  I do like the looks of it.  It makes it look like it's sort of part of the box outline.

I did have more flower showing but after I got done outlining my boxed area I saw that it was crooked so I had to trim some away to get it all even.  And in the trimming I had to cut off some of the flower.  But I think it's still a pretty card!  It was also a quick and simple card to make.  This would be a fun card for a Stamp-A-Stack or a Make N Take.

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda
