A White on White Get Well

My card today is a copy from the internet.  From Pinterest (of course!).  My favorite hangout lately!  This was originally a Sympathy card but I didn't need any so I changed it to a get well card.  I didn't need any of those either at the moment but I thought I'd opt for that instead of the sympathy.  It didn't seem as sad.

Anyway the original card was pilfered from Sue and you can see it here.

This is such a stunning card and there isn't a whole lot to it either.  You take a half sheet of white card stock and fold it in half.  Then you take a piece of white card stock and run it through the Square Lattice embossing folder.  Then I cut the piece 1/8" on two sides.  I always like to cut mine after I dry emboss them because the embossing can shorten the piece a bit.  Not always but the more embossing there is on the card the more the paper is tucked in or drawn in. So I just cut after.  Plus if you get it crooked, it gives you a chance to straighten it out!  The top piece is cut 3-1/4" x 4-1/2".  And the leaf from the Sizzlet is taped in place.  Once that was taped in place I stamped the words on.  And that was it.  Easy Peasy.  Simple and simply stunning!

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda

  1. Fabulous card. I love an all white card. There is such interest there but very soothing.
