Summer Silhouettes Get Well Card

I'm trying a couple of things here with this card.  I wanted to go masculine and I wanted to take a summer image/set and make it more of a fall image.  I think I accomplished both!  I probably could have toned down the background with stripes or something less flowery but I wasn't thinking about the background at the time.  I was concerned with color and stamped image.

I set the focal piece in place using Dimensionals.  I felt it needed to be lifted up off the paper a bit for a better look.  I set it in place before I put the Dimensionals on and i felt it needed to be up off the paper.  Giving it some dimension made a huge difference.

I used Whisper White, Soft Suede and More Mustard to make this card.  It was fun and very simple to make too.  The dots are just various circle punches using Soft Suede card stock scraps.  Those open areas just needed something and that is what I thought worked best and yet still allowed the card to be mailed only using one postage stamp.  So there you have it, a masculine fall card from a summer set!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
