Hand-Penned Get Well

These "Hand-Penned" words are just stunning and they sure do make a card look extremely elegant.

I made this card for a friend of mine who was in a car accident.  I felt so bad for her.  Can you imaging trying to sneeze with broken ribs?  OUCH!!!!  The poor thing.

I decided to run with a card I saw on the net but I forgot to write down the web site I found it on.  Though I did change it up some too so it's not a complete CASE.  Perhaps it's an "inspired by" card.  But honestly, it's VERY close to the one posted  a week or so ago by someone else.  If you recognize this card/layout, please let me know so I can give the proper credit.

Field Flowers was used here.  I cut them out and set them in place using Dimensionals.  I did the same with the flower centers as well.  Now I know the original card did not have a butterfly on it and the ribbon and bottom of the layered piece was different.  And I'm not sure if there were words on that card either.  But this is my take on it and I delivered it to my friend last week and she just loved it.  These are more fall colors than spring but after all, they are still flowers!!!  I'm SO ready to go shopping for flowers but alas, there is still some snow on the ground.  Mostly by the end of the yard and street where the snow plows piled it up this season.  The ground is not thawed though I think with this week's temps hitting near 70 or more the ground will warm up considerably.  And I have the fun task of going out on the squishy lawn and removing the snowman parts.  They have now melted away and it's time to say goodbye until next season!!

I know I keep promising you this project I've been working on and I'm trying to get it done by stealing a few minutes here and there to add a piece or cut something on it.  I would like to have some time to just sit down and finish it.  I have the day off tomorrow, sort of.  I don't go to work but I do have TONS of errands and that dreaded grocery shopping to do!  UGH!!!  But I am hoping to steal a whole bunch of minutes tomorrow night because I need to get some laundry done as well and I will be in my workroom just in case the washer or dryer need me!!  Such a great plan!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
