Valentine's Day Gifts Weekend Project

Now this candy holder can be made for any holiday or gift giving party.  I am thinking of making some for my niece's bridal shower.  And I think they would be adorable for a kids party using Nerds.  They are SO colorful. It would have a look of confetti!  Just make a header with Happy Birthday on it or the birthday person's name!  You can do a lot with these.  The bags are 1" x 8".  I think for the shower I may shorten them up a bit.  And I do recommend stapling the bag at the end that is under the heart.  It separated, though it was still closed and it looks like the heart is not taped together.  Just little things that bug me!!! LOL

Anyway, I am making up some gifts for a friend for Valentine's Day and I only needed to make one.  A bunch of these in a vase would be adorable!!!

This is also a great gift for co-workers.  It's not very expensive to make at all, it's quick and it's easy.  Right up my alley!!

The hearts used here are made from the Sizzlet Heart die and the white heart is the heart punch.  See, I told you it was easy.  I did the words on the computer.  Though you could find a stamp image to use too.  I just kept it simple because it's going towards the back of the basket I'm putting together and I didn't want this to be a big eye catcher.  You can decorate these up as much or as little as you want. The whole thing behind it all is to just have fun!!

I am going to try to make at least 3 Valentine's Day gift items a week until Valentine's Day.  Most of these gift item ideas can be converted to other occasions too!  So be sure to stop back and see what else I will be tempting you to spend your time on!!! LOL

The bag that holds the candies is a Stampin' Up! item.

Thank you for stopping by today,
