Serene Snowflakes Shaker Card

I got the idea for this card from Debbie C. on Late Night Stampers.  Her card is a bit different but not by much.  I moved the ribbon to the center of the decorative paper and the wording is moved down as well.  On her card she had the ribbon tied around the hole of the circle and across where I have my words.  Then above the ribbon she stamped the words.  I didn't have the matching ribbon so I moved mine and used what I had.  And when I moved the ribbon I had to move the words.  Simple as that.

The stamp used are are the Four the Holiday's for the words and Serene Snowflakes for the embossed snowflake behind the mica flakes.

The flakes are inside the new Shaker Frames.  These things sure do save me a lot of time in making a shaker card.  The cost isn't too bad ($4.95) but when you have the materials for doing it the other way you will need to weigh out the expense.  As much as I like them I will probably not be purchasing them again.  I have plenty of foam tape to use up and will probably use it instead of the frames.  I'll save the frames for when I need to make a quick shaker card.

This was a fun card to make and I can seem myself making more of these.  I have always loved shaker cards!

Thank you for stopping by today,
Wanda
