Ripped Wallpaper Technique Page

This is a very fun technique.  Though I was a bit disappointed in the papers.  Not that I didn't like them, I did and that was the problem.  I thought when you have one wallpaper on top of the other one, the one underneath is suppose to be ugly!!!  LOL  Anyway, this is a very fun and unique technique to play with. It is very easy to do too!

You just take two pieces of decorative paper and rip and curl the edges to expose the paper underneath.  A little sponging of the edges for a nice aged effect helps too!

I did  not design this card. I copied it as close as I could from Lisa at "The Shabby Stamper" blog.  I saw this card and just had to make it and give the technique a try too!

I didn't have the same ribbons as Lisa used but what I had worked out just fine!  I do like this technique and I think it would be fun to use with some vintage pictures I have!

This is technique #6 in set #5 of the technique pages I make for sale.  You can find them in my store.  They are also on CD so you can just print, cut two edges and use for your technique clubs or classes.  They print out at 5-3/4" x 5-3/4" so you can tape them to a 6" x 6" piece of coordinating card stock and place in a 6" x 6" album for reference and product promotion.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
