Halloween Fun Weekend Project

Last night at the monthly beading group (fun night) we were all given one of these adorable mummies.  It's a very large tube measuring 7-3/4" long by 1-1/4" wide.  It's wrapped in bandage gauze and tied in a knot in the back. It was adorned with wiggly eyes and an adorable plastic spider.  And to top it off it's filled with peanut M & M's!

The gals who made these said the got the tubes at Crafts Direct which is in Waite Park near St. Cloud.  I have not been to Crafts Direct in years.  I don't know if they have an online store either.  I have TONS of craft supplies and going to another craft store is not high on my priority list right now!!!  Besides I have so much "stuff" I don't have any room for anything else.  Just ask the gals who come stamping here.  My workroom is full!!

These look like they would be very easy to make and you can make them with any type of tube, even a paper towel tube.  You could close off the ends if you wanted to fill them with goodies or you could just decorate them and use them as centerpieces for your Halloween get togethers!

If you wanted to add a touch of stamping to it you can make the eyes using punches and you could even make a spider with punches as well!  Take some gray or light brown chalk and dirty it up a bit to give it that fresh dug up look!  LOL

Isn't it just adorable?

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
