Fun Fold Friday Swing or Flip Card Using Field Flowers

I am having a lot of fun with the "Fun Fold Friday" cards.  Today's card was found on You Tube by Michelle at Michelle's Rubber Room.  It is a "Swing" or "Flip" card.  Here is the link to the instructions for this card.

I did add a frame to mine before I folded it.

I scored my card and cut it as shown in the video.  Then I took a piece of decorative paper and cut it 1/8" less on two sides.  Then I set it on top marked it and cut and scored as needed.  I did have to line it up on the backing piece to make sure I didn't get the edges wrong.  Once I got the paper cut (oh and I did cut out the whole center of the decorative paper) then I affixed it to the front of my card base.

Once that was all done I added the center part of the card.  For the center part I used the "Field Flowers" stamp set.  And on the inside of that center I also added the "Sincere Salutations" birthday greeting.  The flowers inside the card were added after stamping off twice.  For those of you who do not know what stamping off is please read on.  Stamping off is when you stamp up your image, then you stamp on a piece of scrap paper and then stamp on your card stock. The more you stamp off the lighter your image will be.  You may want to practice with the stamping off to make sure you don't stamp off too many times and end up with an image that looks like you made a smudge on your card!

Now on the inside part of my card I left an open space so I can write something and sign the card.  I had a lot of fun with this card and I can see myself making more of them in the future!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
