Wednesday Sketch Challenge Birthday Card

It's the Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  And let me tell you, this large open area in space #4 was quite the challenge for me.  And like I said when I posted this at SplitCoastStampers, I need to learn NOT to take my photos straight on.  The pink in the #4 area is really Pirouette Pink.  It's a very soft pink BUT the flash bounced back on it and it looks almost like Regal Rose.  GRRRR.  And taking the photo straight on does not show the pearls on it very well either.

I do like using the "Elegant Bouquet" embossing folder. And adding the Pirouette Pink did show off the embossing more.  But photoing it straight on made it look too dark. In real life it's a very soft pink on the card that actually does look nice.  I think I need to take some classes in photography.

The beautiful slivers of decorative paper are from the  "Springtime Vintage" pack. There are SO many pretty papers in that pack.  I think I need to play with a few more of them before the Occasion Mini closes at the end of the month!

The wording was done on the computer.  I printed out a sheet of white and vanilla.  Now because of the flash bouncing back the #4 space looks like it's white card stock when in fact it is the Very Vanilla.

I'm not thrilled with this card and I may try again with this layout.  It is an interesting layout!

Ok off to make dinner.  Our son is coming over and I LOVE cooking for him!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
