Flower, Daisies #2 Sizzix Die Card

Did you ever have one of those days when you just didn't feel like playing with ink but you wanted to make a card???  Well, I did and I actually made a fun card without any ink!!

I used the "Flower, Daisies #2" Sizzix die.  I cut out nine flowers all together, three of each of the following colors, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose decorative paper.

I used several punches on this card too.  The new Button punch, the border punch and the slot punch where the ribbon is attached.  I though it was a fun idea to do the ribbon like that instead of wrapping it all around the card stock.  I taped the edges of the ribbon on the back of the card stock and then I tied a bow and used Glue Dots to set it in place.

I used the little paper buttons to cover the holes made in the center of the flowers.  I took a black marker and put a single dot in each of the button holes, the button was a bit too blah looking with out it!

It's a very easy card to make too!!  Gotta LOVE that!

The white part of the card measures 4-3/4" x 3-1/2".  The Pretty in Pink layer measures 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" and the Pirouette Pink piece measures 4-1/2" x 2".  That piece you can fudge with a bit because most of it is hidden behind the Pretty in Pink piece.

Originally I wasn't going to add the ribbon at the top.  I was thinking about stamping (yes, stamping) some words on there but I REALLY wanted to stick with the no stamping today!!  I promise, tomorrow's project will have stamping on it!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
