Dasher, Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Can you believe it's December 1st already? And Christmas eve is only 23 days away!! I have not put the tree up, finished my Christmas cards nor have I been Christmas shopping!!!
I think SplitCoastStampers was trying to test me to see if I really was over my fear of square cards!

This was a very fun card. The actual layout is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" but I made mine 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" because I wanted to be able to mail it and I knew I didn't have any envelopes that would accommodate the larger card.

And this was a very simple card to do too! The cardstock was cut 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" and folded in half. Then I cut the layer #1 4-1/8" x 4-1/8". After I cut it I used the "Petals a Plenty" embossing folder. The next layer is just a plain piece of white card stock cut 2-7/8" x 2-7/8" and the black piece is cut 3" x 3". And the top layer is cut 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" on the black piece and the white piece was cut 2-3/8" x 2-3/8".

I stamped the image using black StazOn. I did have to color in the area a little with a black marker because I wanted it to be solid. I added some fun rhinestones, added a bow and the words, which came from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.

Like I said, it was a very fun and easy card to make! I once again proved I could make square card and not run from it! LOL
If you have time, play with the layout! It's a very fun one!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
