Fast & Fabulous Get Well Card

It is just that! Fast and Fabulous!!! This was a very quick and easy card to make. And it's a perfect example of not paying attention to detail! If you didn't catch it I will point it out to you. See the oval with the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" get well wording. Notice anything there? I used white card stock instead of vanilla. DUH! So I'm going to have to try to remove the white and replace it with vanilla. I don't think I should have any trouble removing it, a piece of dental floss slid underneath it should do the trick!
I SO love using embossing folders and this new "Vintage Wallpaper" is SO pretty! I embossed a piece of Marina Mist card stock. Yes, I know I used Marina Mist on yesterday's post. I do believe this is my favorite color!!

I layered my embossed piece on top of a half sheet of Basic Black card stock.

Next I measured the block on my paper cutter and cut a piece of Very Vanilla to that size. I stamped the image using Black StazOn.

Then I got out my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help me line up the colored part of the image. It's a little off but I don't think it's one of those images that you can get perfect. I LOVE that because it gives you a little wiggle room to NOT be a perfectionist!

I sponged the edges and taped the piece on top of a piece of Basic Black card stock.

I stamped my words (on white card stock) and punched out my ovals. I set them in place using Dimensionals.

That was it. A very quick yet elegant looking card. This card would also be great as a birthday card, a thinking of you card and a sympathy card. Very versatile, which is what I love in a stamp set!

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda
