Sock Monkey Children's Birthday Card

I do not own the "Sock Monkey" stamp set but I did have fun playing with it at DIVA Day! This card was designed by Juliann. What is very interesting about this card is the way it opened. If you look closely at the bottom part of the card. See that orange strip at the bottom of the card? It is folded at the left like you would normally fold a card. You open that strip and the card (with the monkey image) now opens from the left. It is VERY different but kind of cool too.

The monkey is colored in with Soft Suede. The hat was cut out and taped in place (after coloring) and the tassel on top of the hat was drawn on.
The balloon was stamped, colored and then cut out. It was set on a Dimensional and put in place on the card. Once in place I took the Soft Suede marker and drew the balloon string line. Wouldn't it be awful to actually have to hang onto a balloon with the string all tangled like that? LOL
It's a wonderful, fun and cute birthday card for a child or for someone who really LOVES sock monkeys! I never had one so I have no opinion on them either way.
Thank you Juliann for letting me share your adorable creation on my blog.

And thank you all for visiting today,
Wanda
