Apple Blossoms Quick Card

Here is another quick card for you to make. This one went together very fast. Plus it is easy to do too! Three colors of ink, Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi. And two stamp sets. "Apple Blossoms" and "Teeny Tiny Wishes." I even got to play with the new ribbon, "Crochet Trim Victoria". I liked how it just laid so nicely over the card stock and it was so easy to tie the bow too. The material is 100% cotton and ties so nicely. It didn't slip at all. I just took the piece of ribbon and tied the bow without any fumbling at all.

On the background of the card are some circles. It's from one of the images in the set. I stamped it using Crumb Cake ink. I wanted the part of the background that was showing the most to have something on it. This was just enough to not distract from the flower image.

This card didn't end up how I had started it out. Originally it started out with the Crumb Cake card stock as the base of the card. But it ended up with Melon Mambo as the base. After I had layered on the flower I thought it looked too blah and needed a bit of a punch. SO I cut the Crumb Cake piece and added the Melon Mambo behind it and liked it much better. I should have taken a picture of it the other way so you could see what I meant. But this way is much better!
It's quick, it's simple and it's a clean looking card. It's great for a swap because it's easy enough to put together and it's also great for a shoe box swap because it's quick enough to put together. Oh and I didn't want to forget to point out the tiny pearl in the center of the flower. I LOVE those little pearls! It's a nice soft touch!

This card can also be used for other occasions like birthdays, thinking of you, get well and sympathy. I like images and layouts that are versatile.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
