Digital Download Scraps Altered Notebook

I did tell you that I don't throw things away. That is not surprising if you saw my workroom. But here is the surprising part. I actually used the scrap piece the following day. I usually have a huge pile of them but this time I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this piece of scrap. I altered a notebook! I seriously jazzed up a pretty boring little notebook.

These little notebooks are SO cute. It's got a magnet in the front to hold it shut which is great if you put these in your purse!

I used the Stampin' Up! Anywhere Glue Stick to affix the paper to the notebook. Then I did tape the top and bottom edge with white Duct Tape. Actually I think the package read "Duck Tape." I used two layers of it because the original edging still showed through. I don't like working with this tape. It was difficult to cut and to set evenly on the notebook edge. But I forgot all about that once I made the butterflies and put them on the card. I used the new Stampin' Up! "Beautiful Wings" embosslit die. It's SO beautiful There are several butterflies in the die and the tiniest one is on the "notes" circle.

The "Notes" is from the "Note to Self" set. And of course the paper is from the digital download "Sweet Pea".

What a great way to beautify a notebook! These make great gifts and a nice item for Craft Fairs, or Stamp Camp or even a Make n Take!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
