A VERY Ugly Thank You Card!

I told you, I share with you my successes and my failures. I have no idea where I was going with this one. I think what I had in mind was the four squares and this is where it took me. . . . down the road of UUUUGLEEEEEE! And this is also a reminder to you that I do not always stamp perfectly, my cards and projects do not always turn out nice or pretty or even straight! I have days when what is in my head just does not work out well on paper! Today is one of those days and lucky you got to be here for me to share it with you!

There are a couple things I can say about this card. It does have the four squares that I was wanting to work with and it is VERY colorful! Perhaps a different color or design on the background might help? Or is this one of those cards that there is no help for?

As I am writing up this post and got my first paragraph done I thought I would pull up the photo and paste it to the blog. I keep looking at it and it's kind of like a train wreck, you don't want to look but you can't take your eyes away!!! LOL

SO as you can tell I am not pleased at all with this card. But the week ahead has better things for you! One of them includes that last technique page in the third set! For those of you waiting, this week will be the one! Woot! Woot!

Yesterday I was at the local bead store teaching. Tomorrow I will show you what the class made! You are going to LOVE it! See, I told you, LOTS of fun stuff this week!

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda

  1. Woman! I don't see ugly! LOL! You are too critical... maybe it's not what you had in mind - but it's a good card! You've got a nice style in card making; that's why I love visiting your blog!

  2. I, also, don't see ugly! I see something very different and unique! But I know how you feel-I made one last week and it was so bad I was afraid to even throw it in the trash (in case someone saw it there)!! LOL

  4. I'm going to go out on a limb and snub all the good-upbringing rules my momma used. My friends tell me if they want the truth they come to me..lol. I have to agree with Wanda this time. Usually I think you're too tough on yourself, but you'll get no arguement from me on this one. Back to the drawing board :-)

  7. I like the card, but not the background paper. I'm pretty challenged with patterned papers, though, so my eye might not be the best! Thanks for sharing something you're not in love with - it's nice to see the thought process.
