"Whimiscal Words" Birthday Card

Stepping back in time just a little bit here. This is another card I had made a few weeks back at Sue's "Card Buffet." Next to the house one I did there, this one is the runner up in my favorites! I think I like it because it's simple looking.

Now I really need to ask questions when I stamp!!! I don't remember what Stampin' Up! set the flower came from. I do know where the wording is from. It's from the Stampin' Up! "Whimsical Words" set. I am SO loving that font too! I chose those words from the set because I thought I would use the card for our sons girlfriend's birthday but I made her a "fresh" one instead. Some of the gals who come over to stamp laugh at me because I tell them I "need" to make a birthday card or a thank you card, etc. and I have drawers full of cards! It's something about making that "fresh" card that is important to me. I never claimed NOT to be weird! LOL

Anyway, this card was made using the Dusty Durango and Soft Suede card stock. I LOVE those two colors together.

We just punched some circles and taped them to the left side, after adding our ribbon of course!

It's a very simple and quick card to do and it has an inviting look to it. Thanks Sue for another fun card! I LOVE it!

And I thank you all for visiting today,

  2. You are not weird Wanda, I do the same thing. I have three boxes of cards made but when I need a card for something - I HAVE TO MAKE A NEW ONE! I needed a Good Luck one yesterday for a co-working that was leaving and I could have taken any one of the cards that has no greeting on it and just added my "Good Luck". But no - I kept wondering "what if she saw this one before". Would that be rude to give a person a card that they may have glanced at once a year ago? There should be a therapy group for cardmakers, I think.
