Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper Card

This card is just TOO darn cute. The original was made by Marlene at "Hands On." You'll probably want to check her card out. She has another layer on hers. I liked the layer but I wasn't able to work it into the card. SO I changed the card just a little. Not enough to take away from her fabulous idea.

The words on my card came from the Stampin' Up! "Holiday Blitz" set. I have used that set SO much and it is one I thought was well worth the money!

I stamped the words on white card stock and punched the out using the 1-1/4" circle punch. I layered that on top of a 1-3/8" Old Olive circle and that went on top of a Bermuda Bay scalloped circle piece. Dimensionals were used to affix it to the card.

The house was found in the paper pack. You do need two sheets of it to make this card. You cut out a circle around the house. Then you take the other house paper and cut out the roof, windows, door and clouds. Put them back in place with Dimensionals.

Behind the house is a large Old Olive circle and behind that is a Bermuda Bay scalloped circle. Nice color choice too, huh? I love the colors she picked out.

The background piece is a bunch of clouds on a page directly from the paper pack too! It's a "must have" paper pack!

I just thought it was such a cool looking card. I wanted to keep it but I made it, not only because it looked so cool, but because I needed a Thank You card. I need to make a few more thank you cards and then I should be caught up on them!!! Hopefully!

This was an easy card to do, it just took a bit of time cutting out the pieces. But that cutting was SO worth it, wasn't it?

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda
