Wednesday Sketch Challenge The More the Merrier

I am such a snowman lover and don't hate me but I am SO looking forward to winter. Maybe not so much the many months of winter but I want the snow!!!! I LOVE making snowmen! We rarely get a good wet sticky snow to make a snowman and when I hear we're getting snow I do double time and get my work done so I am ready to go out and play in the snow with high hopes that it is snowman snow. I have made snowmen as far back as I can remember! I have LOTS of photos too! I'm hoping to do a scrapbook page with them all on it! I'll have to save room for future ones too!

This card was very fun to make. I used some retired decorative paper from the Stampin' Up! "Four Seasons" pack. I remember buying that pack of paper because of the snowflake design in it!

I colored my snowmen with markers from the Soft Pastels group. I sponged the edges in Bashful Blue. The tiny snowflake that is very difficult to see in the photo was done using the Cuttlebug snowflake die and some foam floor insulation stuff we had left over from having the kitchen and dining room floor installed. It looks like a frosty snowflake. I added some ribbon and then a rhinestone from the "Pretties Kit" on the snowflake. It was a very fun and pretty easy sketch to do!

If you have the time play along. You don't need to submit your finished card to SplitCoastStampers if you don't wish to. You can just make a card using the layout they provide and learn new ways to add papers and embellishments to your cards!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
