It's Time For Some Blog Candy!!!

Ok, here is the official post for the Blog Candy!!! I plugged my camera battery in the charger thing that holds the battery. That was step one. The second step was to plug it into the wall. Somehow it works better if you do it that way!!! LOL

Anyway, it's all charged up and now I have the photo of the rubber stamps that are for today's Blog Candy. As usual I add extra things to the package before it's mailed off and I NEVER disclose what I add but no one has been disappointed with what I have added yet!!!

These clear stamp sets are by Scrappy Cat. The larger set is called "Tween Scene" and the smaller one is called "To Cheer You." I LOVE the flowers, hearts and butterflies in the larger set and the words in the smaller set are SO much fun to play with!! The two sets can be used together!

Ok, so now you want to know how you can get these sets plus the other mystery gifts!!! I usually as a question of you and you leave your comment. There are never any right or wrong answers, it's all done by a random drawing.

SO here it goes. The question has to deal with "The Song of the Day." What??? It's something hubby and I usually ask each other. There is usually some song rambling around in our heads that is just STUCK there ALL day long. Ever have that??? My dear friend Katie gave me one that has stuck with me off and on for quite a few days. Thank you Katie my dear!!! She had called me and I wasn't home so she left a message. In her message she started singing "Call me, da da da da da da call me." Well, that stuck in my head the moment I heard it and it returned a few times since then. Oh and of course it's now up there right now torturing me!!! LOL And a good sunny day will bring to mind the Sesame Street "Sunny Day" song. That one plays a very long time too!!! LOL

What is your "song of the day?" You can add how it got there if you like. It's interesting how they find their way there. Right Katie?? LOL

I will draw a name on Thursday using the Random Number Generator. If I don't hear from the winner by Sunday I will hold a second chance drawing on Monday!!! SO pay attention!!!

Please leave your song of the day to this post only.

Have fun!
Wanda

  1. Just started watching the episodes of the series Weeds (not sure if I will continue...) but the theme song is "in my head" "Little Boxes"... little boxes on the hillside, little boxes made of ticky-tacky, little boxes on the hillside, little boxes all the same!

  2. A couple of friends and I were crafting with our Cuttlebugs ... one picked up the Tiny Bubbles folder and started singing 'tiny bubbles, in the wine, make me happy, make me feel fine'. Well...I have been humming that since and driving DH nuts! :-)

  4. I have a daycare - ten year anniversary! Lately, I walk around singing Miss Susie had a baby ... she named him Tiny Tim. A new infant started in our care a few months ago and I changed the words to the song -Miss Lilly was a baby, as cute as cute can be, She came to play at Samie's and learn her ABC's ... I just can't stop singing it! This just makes the kids giggle all the time!

  5. It would have to be the theme song to Gilligan's Island. I just returned from a family wedding and it took place on a yacht cruising the intercoastal in Florida.

  10. Well, I used to sing "Good Mornin, good mornin" from Singing in the Rain, but when it became the theme for Viagara, I had to change. Currently I am singing "I'm on the top of the world looking down on creation and the only explanation I can..." from the Carpenters...
Love your blog...thanks for sharing your ideas and creativity.

Lately I haven't had a song in my head. But whenever I hear a song first thing in the morning while I am still half asleep, that seems to be the one I carry around all day.

  19. mmmmm, Rod Stewart's "Rhythm of my Heart" has been stuck in my head for 2 days. Nothing earth shattering how it go there: I heard it on the radio. Don't know why, but it keeps coming back over & over and my head is pretty sick of it!

Since Michael Jackson passed on I've had the song "Beat It" stuck in my head. I've also been singing it, much to the chagrin of my 13 year old who has no problem telling me what an awful singing voice I have! Love you so much, Addison.

  22. Thank you for the candy, those are cute stamps. I think the song I've had stuck in my head is from the "The Big Bang Theory show" where one of the characters can't sleep and ask a girl to sing to him "Soft Kitty, warm kitty little ball of fur, happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr..."
Every time I hear that song makes me laugh :P

  23. Wouldn't you know it...there is no song that's just "lingering" but I have had that happen alot. I play the keyboard at our church and during the preaching, something will be said that triggers a song and I'll start humming it. I just started reading a book called "Ramshackle Rose" and every time I look at the title I think about the song by Mary, Mary called "Shackles"

  37. The day I read this I had a song stuck in my head and I laughed when I read what you wanted us to write about. I don't know the name of the song and I can't even remember what was running through my head. At this point I don't want to even try and remember because then it will be stuck in my head for another day and I definitely don't want that.

I have heard that when this happens, you can sing Happy Birthday and it is supposed to make the other song stop running through your head. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but it's worth a try.

Enjoyed all the comments, now we can all go around humming tunes to everything from "Michael Row your Boat Ashore" to the Barney song! Have a music filled day everyone!
