Here's My Take on the Bridal Candies

I just thought I'd whip up a couple of hats that could be used on the tables at a wedding.

For the man's hat I just stacked the black like I did for the first hat I made. I added a Basic Gray piece of card stock around the brim. There wasn't much I could do to decorate that hat without making it look too feminine.

For the brides had I took a 6" x 6" piece of Tulle and folded it in half. I added it with the band and round brim piece. I glued the top part on and then pulled the Tulle to the back and secured it with a piece of white thread. Then I took a flower from the "Pretties" kit and added it along with the stamen and wrapped the long end of the stamen around the Tulle where the thread is. Even with a close-up lens and natural light I it was difficult to get the flower to show up. Anyway, you can decorate these up as much or as little as you'd like and they'll still turn out cute!!

Thank you SO much for stopping by,
Wanda

Wow, I like these a lot. Very different from other favors. Have a friend who's daughter is getting married (and her niece is getting married too) so I'm sure she will love this idea. Thanks for sharing.
