Ok, I know you've been waiting patiently for the blog candy to celebrate my blog reaching (and surpassing) 300,000 hits. And here it is!!! Since it's wedding months coming up I thought I'd offer up a Scrappy Cat Clear stamps set "Wedding Wishes." ($17+ value at Addicted to Rubber Stamps). This set has a wedding cake, package, bells, rings, wording and a few other themed images. Plus I'm adding 5 Studio G sets, Wedding, Friends, Thank You, Boys Sports and laugh Out Loud flower and butterfly. Lots of hours of fun there!!! I'm also including (but not pictured here) 5 yards of the 5/8" Vanilla grosgrain ribbon.Do you need to answer a question this time??? Sure you do!!! You don't expect to get something for nothing do you??? LOL

She was wondering if I would share with you all how I find the time to put something on my blog every day.
Here's the answers you may pick from:
a) I got some extra time as a gift and have not used it all up yet!
b) I neglect my home and family to stamp.
c) I stay up late and stamp
d) I dedicate a certain amount of time each day for stamping
e) I make a weeks worth of items in one day and post them as I need them
f) I never sleep

You want to eat dinner tonight?!"), "C" ("It's only 3 a.m. -- I have 3 more hours till I have to start tomorrow!") and "F" ("Well, now it's too late to go to bed anyway!!) LOL!!! ReplyDeleteI personally do E for myself, sometimes even making a month's worth of stuff. But I want to pick H for you-you are really an AI and have been programmed by the real one to do all the fun stuff and she gets to do the mundane stuff. I know that is backwards but she is human-she screwed up!

ReplyDeleteThis is me. I try to sit down every night and stamp after dinner. It does not always though due to DH and the kids! Or if DH is tired of doing the dishes, then I do them but it cuts into my prescious stamping time!!LOL

Oh I definitely neglect things that need to be done around the house to stamp and blog. I usually stamp several cards or projects on the weekend and then I have something to show most everyday. The actual upload to the blog for me doesn't take more than 5-10 minutes it is the stamping part so that I have something to show that I have the trouble with.

I am an early riser and tend to do my best thinking early in the morning so I LOVE to go upstairs and make my creation using the challenges from SCS then loading to my gallery and hop right over to my blog. All of this before going to work. I get so out of wak when I have to be at work too early to stamp. It disrupts my entire day.

ReplyDeleteI would say that d) I dedicate a certain amount of time each day for stamping sounds like a good option. Even if one doesn't actually get to stamp a card every day one can still be thinking about a new card to create, a stamp set to use etc.... If you are thinking about what to blog about during the day it often doesn't take long to create a blog post. When you sit down to blog and your mind goes blank is when it becomes something of a chore and not likely to happen.
Keep up the great posts. Always great to check in to see what you are up to and your latest creations.
I would likely have to say a bit of all but most of all because of your love for the craft.

Thats a hard question!! Myself it would be C - I stay up late. But I'm debating between D - you dedicate the evening to C - stay up late and then E - you make a weeks worth of items and since you stayed up late it would be F - never sleep however, it could be H - since you are so talented and your blessed with that gift you just make time!!!!
