Blog Candy - Reaching Stamping Top 50!!!

Reaching #50 in the Stamping Top 50 is a VERY big deal to me. And to celebrate this auspicious event I am giving away VERY big Blog Candy!!! This is a Brand New Fiskars ShapeBoss. It's the "Ultimate Embossing System" It comes with three embossing stencils and I am also including two more brand new ones.

This is great for card making and scrapbooking. These stencils have so many shapes and borders on them for dry embossing on your cards and pages.

I will not be shipping it in the box for two reasons. The shop I got it at had it discounted because the box was damaged and it will help save on postage. Retail value of this Blog Candy is around $50.00. Fifty dollars for hitting number fifty!!! I'm still SO thrilled to have made it.

Ok, so now you're wondering how you can have a shot at winning this Blog Candy! Well, since Christmas is just around the corner, tell me what you'd really like for Christmas. I mean REALLY like. World peace and all that other stuff aside, let's go to the other end of the spectrum. What is that one material gift that you'd REALLY like??? For me, I would LOVE to have a housekeeper and to be greedy here I'll take a cook and I want them to come in on a daily basis!!! That would give me SO much more time to stamp and do other things I want to do!!! I would also like fabulous lake home with an outdoor Sauna and and indoor Hot Tub. And if I can't have the lake home then I'd like one on the ocean. But it still has to have the Sauna and Hot Tub and the housekeeper and cook can tag along too!!! LOL

Ok, your turn!!!
Have fun. I will draw a name on Monday evening.

Thanks for playing!
Wanda

  5. Congrats on reaching such a great milestone. What I would love for Xmas is a complete new wardrobe. Just to throw out everything existing and start from scratch and get it all at once. How great would that be?

  9. Congratulations on reaching the top 50! I just found your blog from Allison, and I can see why you're so popular! I love your work, and I'll definitely be back. Although I like your maid idea, what I would really like for Christmas is a weekend to just sleep and stamp and do whatever I want! Also everything in the SU! catalogue! ;) Thanks for the chance to win some great blog candy!

Congrads on your accomplishment. Top 50 is nothing to turn your nose up at...I admire your accomplishment...Now the cook
& housekeeper sound like a winner to me, but since you came up with that one I will take a $1000.00 Master card to use at stores of my choice to "enhance" my stamping/scrapbooking room. I would love a cricut or cuttlebug, and I really need some new storage units designed for papers, and then I would have to do my best to fill up those storage units, oh and I need some new markers...a stampin' up set would do me nicely and why not get the stamp pads to match...okay I think I have officially run out of the money I don't have yet...LOL
Seriously, take time to bask in the limelight and enjoy your milestone...you deserve it!

  14. Well, I dont gift nor am I gifted for Chirstmas as I feel it has become a greedy season in this country. There is one thing I would like but just because I need it really. I would like a small whirlpool or hot tub with jets because I have Fibromyalgia and it would help a lot. But hubby doesnt want one for some reason he wont disclose. A portable one is less than 1000 and would fit in my garage. oh well-guess being uncomfortable still rules.

Wow, Congratulations Wanda that's terrific!!! I keep going through all your old projects and tutorials to get ideas, thanks for all the hard work!! I'm absolutely coveting this sapphire and diamond bracelet - so I'd be thrilled to get that for Christmas. I'd REALLY like the piece of paper that says I earned my Ph.D. for christmas, but since that's highly unlikely, I'd settle for having my advisor fall into a tar pit. Congrats again!! :)

  20. Congratulations on your milestone what a terrific accomplishment! If I could dream here for a second ...BG I would love a NEW house in the country with a stamp room overlooking a giant lake surrounded by nature. It also wouldn't be bad to actually have time to stamp so I would love to have enough money to quite my day gig:). Back to reality I would love to own the Nestibilities by Spellbinders, and a good binding machine.

  22. Congratulations on reaching the Stamping Top 50!! We know you put a lot of work and thought into all your blog entries. My Christmas wish would be to put an addition on my house big enough to have all my family members here for the holidays, so my poor sister would get a break once in a while! It would have to have a cathedral ceiling so I could put a giant Christmas tree in there, too!

Hey...can I just come live with you? Your wish is absolutely dreamy!

My wish would be to live where it's 75 degrees all year round. I never did like the cold, and moving back to KY just reinforced that. And I certainly had my fill of heat when I lived in TX. So...it doesn't matter where, so long as the temperature is right I would love it!

  48. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing all of your talent and time with us through out.

Let's see...since I am so new to scrapping/carding, I think I would ask for a Cricut. That seems to be what most crafters are using to get those darling little cut-outs.

    Thanks for the fun!

  49. Woo-hoo Wanda, congrats on reaching the Top 50! Your blog is awesome!

As for my REAL Christmas wish. . . . . . I think it would be that my SU business would grow so I could afford more of the (stampin') things that I want. Of course a housekeeper thrown in so I could stamp more would be pretty awesome!

As for none monetary (non-stamping) things I think I would wish for my father's health. I would like for my son to have some good quality with him (without the icky step-mother! ewww!) ;D

  50. Yeah, Wanda!! You rock! For Christmas I would like to win the lottery so that my husband will never have to work again. Then we could spend all our time hanging out with our kids and doing things we really want to do. Thanks for the chance at awesome blog candy!!

Congratulations on hitting the big "Five-O"! Most girls aren't quite as thrilled, lol.... Ahem! Anyway, I clicked on your blog link from your adorable Santa Nuggets upload over at SCS. What a great idea, and a great blog! Bookmarking it for sure...

As for presents, I can really agree with wanting a housekeeper, lol! One of the main symptoms of my MS is the massive fatigue, so I always feel so guilty taking time to stamp when there's SO much house cleaning that needs to be done yet! (I'll take world peace, too, though...)

Hugs to you...I'll definitely be back!

I want my own personal motivational coach who says, "Okay, sweetheart, now I'm going to make you a nice cup of lemon tea while you sit down with these pictures and these stamps and do this card or this scrapbook page. I am going to bake you some cookies in a few minutes after I get your lunch started. You listen to this great music while you work. I'm going to be in to check on you in 15 minutes with a very special treat if you have started." Then, while my cookies are baking,my lunch is being fixed and I'm "working", my coach plans out nutritional meals for the week, does the shopping, comes home and vacuums, does the bathrooms and puts everything away. "I can handle the rest," I say, but my coach says "Let me see the great work you have produced." Then the coach praises it and looks at it from every angle and tells me how talented I am and how great it is and tells me to do another one while she finishes tidying the house and fixing dinner.Ahhhhhh.....

  61. Congratulations on your big 50!!! I love your blog and I look forward to your new updates. Oh, what I would love most would be a personal trainer! I have absolutely no time (can I ask for extra time, as well) to get my 2 kids to school, to the gym and then pick them up, so if I could have a personal trainer come to the house (along with a babysitter for the amount of time the trainer is here), that would be my ultimate gift!!!! Then, I could TRULY have "real" activity points! Again, congratulations!!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. hmmm...I know you said world peace aside, but how about fixing my hubby's back so he's not in pain? I feel guilty every time I hear him stumble or see a tear in his eye from the pain....I just want him to feel better! If that were fixed, then I would want a housekeeper - someone's got to come in and deal with my stampin & scrapbooking mess! LOL

You are, by far, the MOST creative person I KNOW!!!!! And may EVER know. I don't know where ALL those IDEAS come from.
As for what I would WISH for Christmas...I would LOVE to become an ORGANIZED person. I just totally LACk the gift/skill of ORGANIZATION. It would save my family and me from so much stress. I wouldn't waste time being a "pinball" in my own home.

I wouldn't get very much stamping done if that wish came true!!! Have a wonderful holiday!!!

I LOVE all of your ideas and projects!!! As far as what I'd really want...I just turned 50 this summer and thought I'd have a problem with it. But to my surprise, I'm embracing it!! I'd love to also have a housekeeper (so of course I wouldn't have to clean myself!) and also a cook (to fix nutritious meals to live longer)!! I have fallen in love with stamping and stamping 'challenging' projects and also very busy with an athletic son which keeps me going (or either trying to kill me!). I'm always on the go and if I didn't have to worry with cooking and cleaning, of course I would have more time to stamp!!! PLEASE continue sharing all of your wonderful ideas! Thanks for all that you have shared with us!

  81. To 50? Yay! I have to say that I truly and honestly would just love it if someone (almost anyone at this point) from my family would come and spend Thanksgiving/Christmas with us. We live 1700 miles from our family and can't afford to fly 5 people home and DH can't take the time off from work but surely 2 people could afford it? Alas, no one comes. I love the traditions my immediately family has but would love to have extended family to share it with.

Oh, and a lens for my camera would be nice, too! Family first then lens!

  83. I would love a housekeeper who cooked and cleaned and filled vases with fresh flowers and made my bed with sheets fresh off the clothesline every single day! Is that being too selfish???

  84. What a question! What do I REALLY want for Christmas? And it can't be anything noble? If that's the case, I must be totally honest. I want a really, really old; really, really rich; really really sick man to come take me away. I want him to arrive with a preacher to marry us. I want him to come with his will in hand and I'll furnish the ink pen. I want his lawyer by his side to make sure it's legit. I want him to have a daughter who will be glad that I am taking care of her father for his last two weeks on earth -- so glad, in fact, that she will stay on and become my maid. I want his son, who is equally happy that I am taking care of his father to become my handy-man/gardener/cook. Of course I want the son and daughter to have their own source of income so that I won't have to pay them. And to show that I am not totally heartless, I, of course, do not want my husband to suffer or linger. I guarantee he will go with a smile on his face. And then, I want to be able to say good-bye to my job and spend the rest of my time having fun--stamping when I want, traveling to see my children and grandchildren. But, if I can't have that, I just want a new TV for my den. I am now watching TV on a 19X3 inch strip across the TV screen. Dang that lightening! Congrats, Wanda, on reaching the Top 50! You truly, deserve it!

Well-I'd love a home makeover. I don't want anything extreme. I'd just love new flooring, paint, cabinets, counters etc etc. I want a designer to come and decorate the entire house!!!!

  86. WOW...being in the top 50 is HUGE! Congrats to you, Wanda:) This is a tough question because I am so content & not an iota materialistic anymore in my ripe old age of 56:) But I guess if I could have anything, I'd live in a little Thomas Kinkade cottage on a private lake with my son & his family living on one side of us, and my daughter and her family living on the other. I'd have a decorator come in and pick out colors, furniture and art for my cottage. I'd also like a fancy boat to cruise my lake and a guest house for our company. I'd have a gardner to keep up the flowers and yard, and a housekeeper/chef to cook and clean. My husband could retire and I'd be able to buy whatever stamping items I want. Oops, perhaps I AM a bit (or a lot?) materialistic after all:)

    Congratulations!!! Kudos!!
My Christmas wish would be a replica of years gone by, to be able to be with my family, as I won't be, to have the big tree up with lights (the ambiance, I love it), stockings hung up, and moms homemade Christmas cookies and to have extended family with us too. Most of all good health, to enable us all to be together and enjoy the spirit of the season.

Hi Wanda-congratulations on hitting the big 50! I wish my husband would quit smoking because I worry about his health-he worries about finishing the rennovations to our home that we started 7 year ago! So I guess my wish would be to be debt-free and to own our completed home free and clear.... so my husband wouldn't have to worry about it anymore!

  104. Hi Wanda. I am new to your blog and was directed to it when I viewed one of your projects on the SCS's Anything But a Card gallery. You've got so many ideas posted here that are inspirational. Anyway...to your blog candy giveaway...What I really wish for, hummmmm. I want a bigger house and a lap pool so that the revolving door to our house is continually open to our children and their families. This past 18+ months we have had our daughters and granddaughters, SILs and future SILs move in because they have hit upon hard times and have not been able to afford a place for themselves. This makes for a tight squeeze fitting everyone into a room and bathrooms. I have also had to give up my stamping/crafting/office room and moved everthing into my dining room. I also wish for someone to come in and clean my house on a weekly basis and that dinner would be ready for me when I walk in the door. I also want to be debt free so that I can retire which would enable me to spend more time stamping, work on scrapbooks and become more proficient at quilting (brand new to this) and work as a volunteer in a hospital or orphanage. That's what I wish for Christmas.

  105. For Christmas I would like to have my invention idea patented and make a bunch of money off of it so I can be a stay at home wife and mommy to my boys and then I would like to have a book or two published that I have ideas for so I can make more money and open up a "chain" of homes across the US for at risk unwed mommies... That is just for starters!!

I would like for Christmas to spend it with my family. They live in another state and I haven't seen them in almost a year. I miss them all. So I just want to be around them for as long as I can.
