The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Peaceful Pine card stock and taped it to the front of the card.
Using the "Lazy Daisy" embossing folder I textured a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Berry Burst card stock and then I glued it to the front of the card. I set it under my stamping mat to set up and lay flat.
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Velvet Meadow" 12" x 12" package and was cut at 4-3/4" x 3-1/2".
I used the birthday greetings from the "Scalloped Blooms" bundle with Peaceful Pine ink. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card. Icentered it as much as I could by eyeing it.
The bling is from the "Loose Frosted Dots" container and I glued on three yellow ones. And that was it, the card was done.
You can get 6 cards from just one sheet of this DPS. There are two sheets of this design in the package, so you could whip up 12 cards in no time at all.
This was a very fun, quick and easy card to make.
Thank you for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda

Beautiful! I love this; simple and elegant!
ReplyDeleteLovely card. And to think you can get six of these from a single sheet of that gorgeous DSP! Do you have any trouble getting your DSP to adhere to the embossed panel?
ReplyDeleteCheryl, I do not have any trouble getting the DSP to adhere to the embossed pieces if I use glue. Tape doesn't always hold enough because of the surface contact between the tape and the texture.
ReplyDeletePretty paper I do like the embossing behind, gives it an extra special touch!
