All Squared Away, Blossoms in Bloom, Thinking of You Card, 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I am starting to ask myself why I bought this "All Squared Away" set. I don't know what I had in mind for it when I ordered it.  So now I'm struggling to find ways to use it. There are not a lot of samples on the internet so there's very little inspiration. Here's what I did with it today.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 5-1/4" x 2" piece of Old Olive. I used a 5-1/8" x 1-7/8" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "You're a Peach" 12" x 12" package. I didn't buy the stamp set (or bundle) that the DSP goes with. I just liked the designs in the paper and thought I could have some fun with it. I taped the DSP to the Old Olive strip and then I taped the strip to the left side of the card.

I die cut one of the squares from the "All Squared Away" set using Basic White and I die cut another using Old Olive. I cut away the leaves off the Basic White piece and then I glued it to the Old Olive piece.

The little flowers were die cut from the larger peaches on one of the sheets of the "You're a Peach" DSP. I thought it would match the DSP strip better than any card stock would.  Plus it gives the little flowers a bit of dimension. I glued the 6 flowers in place.

The blue DSP is from the same package and I cut that piece 2-1/8" x 2-1/8". I also cut a piece of Basic White card stock that was cut just a hair smaller and I taped the two pieces together.  Then I glued the flower square piece to the front of the blue DSP. I added Dimensionals to the back but didn't set it in place on the card. The words needed to be stamped.

They are from the "Blooms in Bloom" set and were stamped using black Memento ink.

Now the flower piece was set in place and the card was done.  Though looking at it now, I think the center of the flowers could use some rhinestones or tiny pearls, it needs something.

This was a fun card to make and I hope I get inspired to make more using this set.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this square flowered card,
Wanda
