Thoughts & Prayers Sympathy Card

Today I thought I'd better make a sympathy card.  My husband's niece's husband's sister had a brain aneurysm and is not expected to make it.  The rest of my week is busy so I thought I should make my card now so I am ready.

I had found a card made by Glenda at "The Stamp Camp"a while back and I had saved it .  It's a very pretty card and a bit fussy to make but so worth it.  It really did go together quickly until it came to the flowers.  Gluing them in place one at a time took a few minutes but not that long.  I LOVE the little pearls in the centers of each flower.  I did change the card a bit but not too much.  And now as I look at it I think I should have changed the orientation of the card.  Keeping the music at the top (of the new orientation), moving the flowers piece to the upper left corner and having the words in that open space under the flowers (or in this case, on the side of the flowers.  I think I may make another card and give that orientation a try. I need a birthday card and this would make a very pretty one, with music and all!!!

My colors here are Very Vanilla, Basic Black and So Saffron.  The ink is black StazOn.  The decorative paper is from the "Modern Medley" pack and the words were done on my computer.  I was asked what size font was used on the words and I don't remember.  I had made them several years ago and put them in a PDF file for sale in my web store (click here to see them).  It's an after payment download, you get an email with instructions.  There's many greetings in the file.  They include: Thinking of You, Thank You, Happy Anniversary, Happy Birthday, With Sympathy, Get Well, Merry Christmas, Happy Father's Day, Happy Mother's Day, and Be Mine.  And there's 24 to a page.  They can be punched out with the circle or oval punch.  You can print out as many as you like and use them as you wish on cards for personal use or on cards and projects for sale.

Thank you SO much for visiting,
Wanda
