Secret Garden One Sheet Wonder Technique

I have not done the One Sheet Wonder technique in a very long time.  I saw this card on Pinterest (of course!)  You can see the original here, though I did not deviate far from it.  I thought it was such a stunning card from the minute I set my eyes on it.  And I knew I just HAD to make it.

For this technique you take a sheet of card stock.  Here I used Whisper White.  Then you stamp the images all over it.  Filling in as much or as little space as you like.  I think the upper corner and bottom center could have used just a bit more something!  You can plan these things out once you have cut off what you need for your card.  Anyway, when you are satisfied with your images then you can cut off the size pieces you want to assemble your cards.  You can get quite a few cards from one piece of card stock, depending on how big the piece your cutting is.  I could get  8 pieces of this 2-1/2" size from my sheet.  But I didn't. I put it aside for some other day.  I didn't want to make a bunch of these cards and I didn't want to use some other layout today.  So it will sit in my stash of stuff until I run across it and ooh and aah at it all over again!!! LOL

The base of this card is Crumb Cake.  There's a small piece of Midnight Muse on it and one of my favorite colors, Marina Mist!  And those are also the colors of the ink.  The Marina Mist layer is 1-1/4" x 5-1/4".  The Crumb Cake layer is 1-3/8" x 5-1/4" and the Midnight Muse layer is 1-5/8" x 5-1/4".  I did cut my One Sheet Wonder piece 2-3/4" so I had something to tape the side layers on top of.  You could butt it up against them too, it's all in how good you are at cutting and layering!  I am not and anytime I can just slap one layer on top of another I will do it!!

Once you have all the images stamped, the card goes together rather quickly.  And it was very fun to make too.  I forget how fun One Sheet Wonders are!

Thank you SO very much for visiting today,
Wanda
