Bordering on Romance Birthday Card

Today I thought I would play with some decorative papers.  I am on a quest to use up a whole package of decorative paper before it retires!!!  "Sunshine Sprinkles" has a lot of fun papers to play with and I'm hoping I can make a lot of different types of cards using them!

The image came from the "Bordering on Romance" set.  I colored in the image using markers and a blender pen.

The colors of the card are pretty basic.  The base of the card is Lucky Limeade.  Basic black was used for contrast and of course the image is on Whisper White.

The words were done on my computer and punched out.

I did like making this card.  The layout was fun and yet easy enough to do.  Plus the card had several layers, which you all know how much I LOVE layers!  I know that lately I've been making very simple cards.  This one is not a complex card and it really didn't take a long time to make either.  I would still consider it a simple card but maybe a little higher on one end of the spectrum!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda

I love the way this card is made. It really look's hard to make. The color selection is nice.
