Happy Birthday Gorgeous, Basics 3 Washi Tape, Daisy Punch, Birthday Card

I was SO thrilled to get the new Washi Tape.  The tape here is from the Basic 3 collection. I LOVED the blues and I figured I would get more use out of them than the other colors. But the trick there is, you have to use them!  Mine got lost on my worktable and while trying to straighten it up I saw it and thought I would play with it before I misplace it or forget!  And this is what I came up with.

I LOVE Washi tape because you can just add a few strips and the background is done!  Such a deal. I used three strips for my card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a piece of Dapper Denim card stock cut 4" x 5-1/4".  And on top of that is a piece of Whisper White cut 3-3/4" x 5".

I started in the middle with the Washi tape.  The small thin strip first and I set the other two on either side of it.  Then I punched out two flowers and taped them together.  I curled the edges up just a little with my thumb and forefinger.  Then I set it in place using a Dimensional. I added the Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the flower and stamped the words from the "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" set using Dapper Denim ink.  I taped it to the Dapper Denim layer and taped those two layers to the card base and it was done!!  SO super easy and quick.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

A cute and simple card. I think sometimes that simple is often better than a really cluttered card. Thanks Wanda
