Painted Harvest, Beautiful Bouquet, Birthday Card

Oh, oh.  I think I may have a new favorite stamp set!!! LOL I just love playing with this set.  And this fun paper too.  The paper is from the "Painted Autumn" Designer Series Paper" pack.  I cut my strip 2-1/8" x 5-1/4".  I taped it in place on top of a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I stamped the flower using Pumpkin Pie ink on the larger back leaves image.  Then I stamped the center leaves using Tangerine Tango.  I added some Cajun Craze marker to the center ring of the stamp before I stamped it on the larger flower image.  This stamp has a lot of detail on it's own.  I probably should have stamped the Pumpkin Pie in the center part and the Tangerine Tango on the outer leaves.  Oh well, this is how we learn, right?

The center was stamped using Soft Suede stamped off once.  I tried Crumb Cake but it was too light.

The leaves were stamped using Pear Pizzazz card stock and ink.  Oh and get this, there's a matching punch to go with it!!! YAY.  Since I did spend a few minutes fussy cutting the flower, I caught a break with the leaves!

I used the dotted stamp and stamped some Soft Suede dots all over the place.  The dots were stamped off once and then stamped on the card stock.  I also added some So Saffron dots, those I didn't stamp off, but I did stamp on other areas without inking, so in a sense I did stamp off!

I added Dimensionals to the back of the fussy cut flower and stuck the leaves on them before I set the flower in place.  I didn't like what I saw, so I stamped the center of the flower again and this time I cut it out and set it in place with Dimensionals.  I added Wink of Stella to the tips and edges of the leaves and the tips of the flower.  I also ran some around the edges of the flower center.

The wordsa are from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set and I used Soft Suede to stamp them.  And that was it.  Super fun and easy.  The flower did take a little bit of time fussy cutting it but when I am excited to make something or there is something good playing on tv, I don't mind fussy cutting at all! Oh and when I only have to do one! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
