A Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper Birthday Card

This is one of my most favorite card layouts using Decorative Series Paper (DSP).  I love how you can just take a panel of DSP and add a layer, then just decorate as you wish.

This card is from Terri's wonderful Stamp a Stack.  We used the "Birthday Bouquet" DSP.  I LOVE these little ice cream cones.  They just scream birthday.  After layering, we tied a ribbon around the panel and set it in place on the card front.

I don't know what set the words are from. It's obviously a set I don't own.  There were lost of choices to pick from for our wording.  This is what I chose for all three of the cards I made.  I thought it was a fun and festive looking font. The words were stamped and punched out and then set in place on top of a scalloped oval layer.  Dimensionals were added and the words were placed on the card.  It was a very quick and simple design.  This layout is one of those that not only make quick and easy, but it allows you to use up scrap strips of your DSP.  Isn't it a fun card?

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
